Hey hey fockers

A lot’s happened since we last spoke. We signed a publishing deal with Warner
Chappel last Friday. I won’t go into the difference between a publishing and
record deal here, but it’s good news anyway. We’re not super rich (actually,
we’re not rich at all), but we won’t have to fight for microwave sausage and
mash in the bargain section of Gateways for a while.

The gig at The Borderline was a huge success. Tim and Charlotte from Ash,
Richard Jones from the Stereophonics and Frank Skinner (!?!) were all in the
house. The place was sold out, so thanks to everyone who came down. The gig, in
our humble opinion, was a stormer.

There are a few more gigs planned. These be they:

March 20, Colchester Soundhaus (with Antihero)
March 25, Camden Barfly
April 17, The Borderline, London

We’re finally firing on all cylinders in the live arena, so come down and throw
some shapes. All the prices, directions and generally vital information that we
forget can be gleened from www.inaudible.co.uk.

On the website, too, are MP3′s of our Peel and XFM session. If they’re not up
there, they will be soon, so keep an eye out.

We can also exclusively reveal that Who Knows, or White Russian Galaxy as it’s
officially known, will be the next single. We’re looking at a May 5/12 release.
We’ve no idea what the b sides will be because we haven’t recorded any yet.
It’ll be released on the Double Dragon label and rest assured we’ll be touring
extensively around its release.

That’s about it for the mo’. Hope the ‘news’ content was up to scratch.

We’ll see you soon

  1. Well done guys on getting the contract. Get recording coz im eager to hear some more of your stuff. Also, if your touring soon, get up north (preferably York) and gig here coz i missed your support with the Levellers! Im so pissed off bout that.

Anyway, well done. Replies are as welcome as bread for ducks and all that poetic stuff

    Cheers,
    Gareth
