Dearest friends,

Sorry for being slack on the news front. We’ve been saving it up and, darn
it, we’ve flaming loads to tell you now…

First things first, our brand new single, White Russian Galaxy is out this
week. Some of you might have heard it on Jo ‘sandal-toting-earth-mother’
Whiley, Colin Murray, John Peel, XFM etc – God bless them all. It’s backed
with Lasinoco and Girl Just Died and it’s great. Every home should have one.
You can get it in shops (how novel), or on-line (check
for details).

Gig-wise, there’s a tour really, really soon. We probably should get round
to rehearsing, but we’re glued to Loose Women. You can see a breathtakingly
shambolic* performance here:

11 Birmingham, The Sanctuary
12 Peterborough, The Metropolis Lounge
13 Nottingham, The Old Angel
15 Glasgow, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
16 Liverpool, Barfly
17 Colchester, Soundhouse
18 London, Barfly

4 Compass Point Festival, Cardiff

*we’re being a bit self-effacing actually. We’ll be great.

Live-wise, too. We’ll be playing with our new mates Travis, at King George’s
Hall, Blackburn on 21 June. It’s their first gig for a year, so we’re hoping
we’ll show them who’s boss.

We also received a nice text from our old, trusty best friend Kelly Jones.
We’ll be playing the Irish leg of their massive arena tour. There’s four
gigs – here they are.

2 Dublin, The Point
3 Dublin, The Point
5 Belfast
6 Belfast

For any details/addresses of the venue etc. check the website.

That’s all for now. More news imminently. We might not be broke for too much
longer. We’ll say no more.

See you on the road.
