Subject : The Crimea on tour – UK dates

We may well be on our way to the States for a couple of weeks, but it doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about the UK. It’s a bit of a giveaway, but the long list of dates and places you can see at the bottom of this mail means we’re touring. And we’re touring HARD. If we’re not coming to a place near you then you either a) live on an oil rig or b) live outside the UK.

First things first though. To celebrate John Peel day, we’re putting on a very special show at The Enterprise in Camden, London. It’ll be acoustic and feature some VERY special guests (keep checking for the full info). Needless to say it’ll be a spectacular evening, totally befitting the great man and his sterling work. So here’s what you need to know:

October 13 – The Enterprise, Camden (opposite Chalk Farm tube)

You can buy tickets with credit/debit cards by calling The Enterprise on: 0207 485 2659

And so we turn to the tour. The tour to end all tours. A tour of duty that goes above and beyond the call of duty. There’ll be no sleep ’til Aldershot and we doubt there’ll be much sleeping there, either. So here you go, check this out:

11/10/05 London – Barfly
22/10/05 Harlow – Square
26/10/05 Liverpool – Academy
27/10/05 Northampton – Soundhaus
28/10/05 Cardiff – Barfly
2/11/05 Cambridge – Portland
3/11/05 Manchester ? Roadhouse
5/11/05 Birmingham ? Barfly (the old Sanctuary)
8/11/05 Liverpool – Barfly
9/11/05 Stoke ? Sugarmil
10/11/05 Carlisle – Brickyard
11/11/05 Glasgow – Barfly
12/11/05 Edinburgh ? Caberet Voltaire
14/11/05 Leicester ? Princess Charlotte
15/11/05 London – Barfly
16/11/05 Sheffield ? Boardwalk
18/11/05 York ? Barfly
19/11/05 Birmingham ? Bar Academy
23/11/05 Bristol ? Louisianna
25/11/05 Tunbridge Wells – Forum
26/11/05 Coventry – Colloseum
30/11/05 Chelmsford – Bitterscene
1/12/05 Winchester – Railway
2/12/05 Aldershot ? West End Centre

There’s a good chance we’ll be adding more shows, so keep checking the website for details, or we’ll let you know once we get back from the US.

We think that’s it for the moment. We’ll hopefully see you on our very long, very winding road soon.

Lots of love

The Crimea.

Hey hey

We’re back in New York, we took a bite from the big apple and almost choked when our ride from the airport tried to sting us for $200. Thanks a lot, unscrupulous cab driver.

Our arrival in the US means that we’re hitting the road. It’s with Aussie guitar ticklers ‘Youth Group’ and it’ll be a short jaunt around the East Coast. Poughkeepsie! Farmingdale! Are you ready to rock! No? Tough Sh*t, we’re coming anyway.

Here’s the dates:

9/18/05 Trocadero – Philadelphia, PA
9/19/05 The Downtown – Farmingdale, NY
9/21/05 Mohawk Place – Buffalo, NY
9/22/05 Revolution Hall – Troy, NY
9/23/05 Bloomfield Avenue Cafe – Montclair, NJ
9/24/05 Ram’s Head Live – Baltimore, MD
9/25/05 The Loft at The Chance- Poughkeepsie, NY
9/27/05 Mad Hatter – Covington, KY
9/28/05 Beachland Ballroom – Cleveland, OH
10/03/05 TT The Bear’s – Boston (with The Redwalls)

We can also proudly annouce that our album, Tragedy Rocks, is now available to buy on-line. It’s a bit of a classic if we do have to say so ourselves. Follow these links and let the music blow your stereo into the next millenium:

iTunes (US store)

On Yahoo

So that’s all for now.

Maybe see you on the road soon!
