I don’t mind *listening* to vinyl, scratches and all, but it’s an exceptionally crap way of procuring a hardcopy of songs, different dynamic range or not.

It wasn’t, or at least wasn’t to the extent I couldn’t get a DRM-less equivalent out of it. That could be the reason the download is missing, I suppose.

This is not a good way to keep fans -- CDs are good, everyone can play the things, and there's no worry about keeping MP4 files backed-up.
