Hey Crimea folks,

As Australian men say instead of foreplay: ‘Brace yerself sheila…’

Firstly, we’re playing this Saturday afternoon at one of our favorite venues, The Windmill in Brixton, doors are at 2:30pm and we’ll hit the stage around 4pm, so come on down, it’ll be ace, there’s loads in-store including a duet with the lovely Anne Gilpin from Morton Valence.

Next, we’re bidding a fond farewell to Andy Norton, our sometime six-stringer who is heading off for pastures new. He’ll be playing the next few shows at the windmill, the surrey bolieroom and the Pontardawe festival. We’ve had an incredible time together, toured & recorded from Cornwall to the Orkney Islands via Latvia, America and everywhere in between, it’s been great, we wish Andy all the best.

Anyway folks fear not, the future holds some special guest appearances on guitar, a kick-ass single, a brand new video and loads more shows up and down this green and pleasant land and beyond, which leads on nicely to…

China, and more specifically Beijing. We’re pleased to announce that we’re playing the POP festival in Beijing on the 8th & 9th of September alongside many great bands including N.I.N. & the New York Dolls, we’ll also be doing some of our own shows in and around Beijing so we’ll keep y’all posted.
Also, we’ll be uploading a slightly different version of the album soon as we near the Silver 60 000 mark on the download counter.

Hope some of that whirlwind of info touched the sides!
