Back Seat Driver EP

Produced by Richard Reynolds AKA The Vanden Plas, this collection of remixes and original material by TVP contains a really rather good dance remix of The Crimea's 'Baby Boom'. The credits say of Baby Boom: "Plays from Eddy Temple-Morris (XFM) and Nick Luscombe (XFM)". Thanks to Richard for providing me with a copy. I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear any enquiries on the remix; you can get in touch via The Vanden Plas' website at

New Welsh Talent

The following was taken from Sound Nation mag's February issue.
Last month saw the national music industry magazine Music Week do the second Welsh Talent cover-mounter CD and feature.
The CD featured the likes of The Caves, My Red Cell, The Crimea, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Mendoza and The Benjamins, while the five-page feature looked at the current music scene across Wales.
James Roberts, A&R Editor of Music Week said, "We were encouraged by the exposure generated from the first Welsh Talent CD in 2003 to put together a second installment. Funeral For A Friend and smaller bands such as Jarcrew went on to bigger things since featuring on the CD.
"Judging from the quality of bands this year there will be plenty more acts to follow in their footsteps."
